We always carry a large stock of replacement locks as we always aim to complete the work on our first visit. The most common reasons we change locks are for customers who have moved into a new house/flat/apartment or business.
Nearly all Insurance companies will have all sorts of small print regarding the types of locks you should have installed in your home to prevent being burgled. A vast majority will refuse to pay out if it turns out you didn’t have appropriate security installed, for example, are your British Standard locks pre or post 2007? If you do speak with them and tell them you don’t have British Standard locks installed, then your excess will be huge, or worse, left without cover.
